The law normally requires people who offer financial products to give information to investors before they invest. This information is designed to help investors make an informed decision.
If you are a wholesale investor under the definition of that term in clause 3 of Part 1 Schedule 1 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, the usual rules do not apply to offers of financial products made to you. As a result, you may not receive a complete and balanced set of information.
You will also have fewer other legal protections for these investments. Ask questions, read all documents carefully, and seek independent financial advice before committing yourself.
Cetogenix is a cleantech company focused on recycling the growing volumes of urban and agriculture waste or sludge created globally - a US $100B dollar industry. They are raising NZ $6 - 8 M and have secured an Australian cleantech lead investor.
Their proprietary process, removes 95+% of solids (including all microplastics and pathogens) from organic sludge and increases biogas production yields from existing anaerobic digestion plants by 40%.
Cetogenix has developed strong deployment pathways in NZ, Australia, Europe, UK, and North America. They have secured two initial in-market trials in NZ and UK, plus a full-scale commercial installation for agricultural waste treatment and biogas production planned in NZ by 2026. Their first product is easily retrofittable into existing water treatment or anaerobic digestion processes and is designed to process 25,000 tons/year of wet waste (i.e., average size of sludge production from a medium waste treatment plant in Europe or a city the size of Lower Hutt, NZ). For more details refer to the flyer in the documents section.
Pacific Channel, a proud supporter and investor in Cetogenix, is a leading Asia-Pacific funds management firm specialising in deep-tech, venture capital and alternative assets focused on the areas of Ag/Food, Health and the Environment.
